Inspiration Unlimited

Feeling rather sleep deprived and yet still energized from a great weekend in Henderson.  This past weekend was Inspiration Unlimited and the whole weekend was filled with good friends, creating wonderful projects, laughter and even some tears.  I'll have to tell you more about the weekend at a later date but for now here are some pictures of the teachers and my roomies who keep me in stitches.

Along with a few more pictures of the vendor tables at the Artistic Affair Market Soiree.  Being there was pure bliss.  Can you see why? Look at all the eye candy (and this is just a small glimpse of all the goodies)  I really wish I could have purchased something from each and every vendor there (well lots actually!)  Not     only are you there amongst talented artists each and everyone of them are just so nice so it really makes shopping even better.  Know what I mean?

Kim really pulls out all the stops at her events...we even had wonderful goodies to snack on while we were there shopping and socializing.  And...we had this splendid make in take by Laura McCollough of A Kiss on the Chic.  Her kits are beautiful.  I was excited to see her here because I remembered her from the Reflections event.

It was also a great shopping experience because I got to hang out with my friend Sally.  Sally why didn't we get a picture together, duh?  In fact I didn't take enough pictures of the whole weekend..darn it!

It was also Kim's birthday and Valerie was so sweet to make cupcakes (oh my they were yummy!) so we could all sing happy birthday to Kim after the market night ended.  What a great way to end the day. 

 

I'll have to tell you about the wonderful classes with Lisa, Julie and Ruth next week.  I need to get ready for this weekend.....its Inspiration Unlimited time!!!  Whoo Hoo another creative weekend. 

Artistic Affaire Market Soiree

This is just a small glimps of Friday nights Market Soiree.  Oh to have so many talented artist under one roof was so wonderful.  If only I had an unlimited amount of money to spend.  There was so many goodies to buy.  I'm sure no one left empty handied.

Oh and a quick update on my dad.  He is doing well and the biopsy came back and the cancer is not back! Yippee!!!!!  Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

I'm so happy to see this month go...too many not so good things happened this month and I'm just tired and ready to move on...or at least I hope so.

I'm still having a hard time with the loss of Peanut...the guilt and the second guessing my decision is what is bothering me the most.  You know the questions I'm sure everyone goes through if they have to put an animal to sleep....did I do it at the right time...was there something else that could have been done....should I have taken her to the vet days before this, etc.  I know I'm just beating myself up over this but this is what consumes my thoughts a lot of the time.

My neice moved to Florida, rather suddenly so I'm missing her a lot...I know it was something she needed to do to stop the downward spiral but I just hope it works out over there.

and lastly my dad is in the hospital, they are running tests on him but so far they don't know what's wrong, he is doing a little better and they were talking about releasing him yesterday but they pushed it to today because they are hoping they get the biopsy results back.  I haven't gotten a call from him yet so I'm guessing the results didn't come in yet.  Praying that the cancer hasn't returned. 

Also praying for those all in harms way of the multiply fires we have going on around here and praying for the safety of our firemen/firewomen.

I'm sad beyond belief

I never wanted to make this choice and was hoping that I would never have to but today I had to put my best friend Peanut down.  She gave me 13 years of unconditional love and I will miss her terribly.

Not even sure you remember me LOL!

I know what can I say that hasn't been said before....I'm a bad blogger!  I have every intention of coming here daily to post yet time just passes me by.  I even have a draft about the wonderful Reflections event that I have yet to finish and post...story of my life...many things left unfinished.

Thought I would give you a real quick update on things.

I just got back from the Stampin' Up Convention that was held in Salt Lake City Utah.  Had a great time and loved being with friends and hanging around 3000 other people that shared the same love for this company.  Lots of fun demonstrations and ideas, I took a lot of pictures and yes I will post some here (but I'm not going to say when well because you know how long it takes me to do things, LOL).

The hard thing about being at Convention this year was leaving Peanut behind, she is 13 years old and I can just see that she wont be here much longer.  That just breaks my heart.  I'm not ready (nor will I ever) be ready to let her go.

An update on the gym, I'm still going, ha ha pretty amazing for me and I think having a trainer two times a week helps me to keep going.  For the first time ever I even went to the gym at the hotel a couple of times :-o Shocking right?!  I have a doctor appointment next week so I'm hoping I can decrease my medication, fingers crossed.

You hoo! Anyone out there?

I know I have neglected my poor blog...I have not forgotten...I just need some time to adjust to my new schedule...I have been walking after work so I get home later and today...gasp...I joined the gym....I haven't been to a gym in ages....luckily the machines look fairly familiar so I might not look too silly as I work my way through them.  Just trying to get my health in order...being pre-diabetic really freaked me out so I guess that's a good thing right?  So bear with me in my absence.  :-)  Trust me I know what its like to go to a blog frequently and not see an update ;-)
